Life Works Psychiatric Center is seeking dedicated and experienced Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. As part of our outpatient psychiatric office, you will work closely with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals. The remote work setting ensures flexibility while allowing you to engage with a diverse patient population through telehealth services, thereby removing geographical barriers to access. We value work-life balance, and our operating hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to ascertain patients’ specific needs and create personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that focus on prevalent mental health issues, fostering a sense of belonging and community among participants.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and nurses, to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during critical mental health emergencies.
\n
• Supply patients with education regarding mental health disorders and treatment options, promoting understanding and adherence to treatment regimens.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with applicable laws and ethical guidelines, utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for patient records.

• Participate actively in clinical consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Stay informed about current research, emerging therapies, and advancements within the mental health field to continually improve service delivery.

The therapists at Life Works Psychiatric Center work with a diverse range of patients experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to perform thorough mental health assessments and design effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy to a varied clientele.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport with patients and colleagues.

• Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and other relevant technology to support efficient tracking of patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Life Works Psychiatric Center offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
