Strategic Account Executive

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO). Are you ready for your next best job where you can elevate your financial future? In this role, you will close sales and win new business within a defined territory. You'll attend our award‑winning training program and join a sales team that works with both new and existing clients to sell human resources solutions, making employees' lives better with high‑quality benefits offerings across the hire‑to‑retire spectrum. Daily, you will cultivate relationships with Human Resources and executive decision‑makers, set appointments, gather leads from established internal partners, and assess buyer needs to present the best ADP solutions. You will manage multiple sales processes simultaneously, documenting each step and following through with implementation until new business is operational. As deals close, you will receive industry‑leading compensation, benefits, incentive trips, and awards. Leadership will support your career advancement with continuous sales training. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities Grow Our Business While Growing Yours : Work within a defined, protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top‑down sales strategy. Turn Prospects into Loyal and Referring Clients : Recommend the right solutions to help our clients understand and solve their real business needs, earning referral business by networking with existing and prospective clients and forging partnerships in‑person and over the phone. Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family : Strategically cross‑sell with other ADP associates to cultivate additional business within existing accounts. Collaborate Daily : Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards. TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications Positive Self‑Starter : Upbeat, persistent style; able to cold‑call without fear of rejection; excellent time‑management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities; clear, professional presentation on paper, in‑person, and over the phone. Strategic Closer : Established network and experience carrying a quota in outside B2B sales; proven track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory and relationships. Proven Winner : Ambitious spirit; thrives under pressure; motivates to hit and exceed sales quotas. A college degree is great but not required. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experience could include: Three years of business‑to‑business sales experience (preferably field sales) within a results‑driven environment. Military experience – skills such as teamwork, resilience, negotiation, and trust‑building help build client relationships and achieve success. Bonus points for these: Preferred Qualifications Ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
