Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Red Bank, New Jersey. As a Home Care Physical Therapist, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule, typically working Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their needs and develop tailored treatment plans that promote recovery in a home setting.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercises, stretching, and hands-on therapy, to ease pain and enhance patient mobility.
• Regularly track and document patient treatments, responses, and progress to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Reassess and adjust treatment goals and plans based on ongoing evaluations of patient progress.
• Recommend and fit patients for assistive devices, as needed, and provide guidance on their use to both patients and caregivers.
• Facilitate training sessions for patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding physical therapy modalities and techniques.
• Continuously enhance your professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, participating in professional societies, and keeping updated with current literature in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele served at Great Blaze Physical Therapy spans various demographics and health conditions. You will engage with patients recovering from surgeries, chronic pain, neurologic disorders, and more. Patient-centric care is at the forefront of our operations, ensuring that each individual receives personalized treatment that focuses on their unique health journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy, allowing practice in New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency with computer systems for documentation and communication.
• A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to various patient needs and environments.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Experience in home health care settings is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams and demonstrate a patient-centered approach.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges between USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and credentials.
