Payroll Clerk

Lane specializes in mobility, tunneling, and water resources to address sustainable development and climate change adaptation challenges. Description Processes weekly payroll and off cycle payroll. Performs validations on weekly payroll to ensure payroll costs by person are reasonable. Provides data relevant to union reporting. Maintains master payroll records and direct deposit files. Answers employee questions about paychecks, deductions, or time-off accruals. Processes wage attachments. Scans daily mail and email to appropriate person for review and processing (tax, union, garnishments, etc.). Reviews payroll inbox and either action or assign email. Resolves issues and process corrections related to overpayments, underpayments, or tax withholding errors. Performs other duties as assigned.
