In this full-time remote role, the therapist will provide critical support and therapeutic interventions to individuals grappling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Perform thorough initial evaluations and ongoing assessments to develop and modify individualized treatment plans.

• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to create comprehensive treatment strategies that holistically address client needs.

• Engage in case management duties by coordinating with medical professionals, including psychiatrists, to optimize client mental health interventions.

• Supervise and provide guidance to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, enhancing their professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve clients in a detox center environment, helping individuals who are coping with complex issues related to substance abuse and mental health disorders. This may include treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mood disorders. Your clinical skills will be pivotal in fostering rapport and trust with diverse clients, utilizing an empathetic approach tailored to their unique backgrounds and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• A current, valid, and fully operational license with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in mental health therapy, with a strong focus on treating mood disorders being preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
