Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster improvement in mental health.

• Assure the delivery of family and child counseling aligning with established medical necessity standards and DSM-V diagnostic criteria.

• Develop and facilitate psycho-educational groups and workshops, such as parenting classes and coping skills training, aimed at equipping clients with practical tools for daily life.

• Maintain thorough documentation of treatment plans and therapy outcomes, processing and submitting necessary case materials and reports punctually to adhere to organizational standards.

• Fulfill contractual obligations by managing and billing a specified number of reimbursable service hours accurately and efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, mainly focusing on children and their families. This role demands a sensitivity to various socioeconomic backgrounds and the ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to meet unique circumstances. Our clients often face challenges including behavioral issues, trauma, and emotional disturbances, thus requiring a deep understanding of developmental psychology and effective intervention strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Current licensure as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is mandatory.

• A maximum of 3 years of experience providing mental health counseling, with a preference for those who have worked with child and family populations.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality care.

• A self-motivated approach to work, with a demonstrated ability to initiate documentation and billing processes independently.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
