Work Environment

This position is located onsite in our hospital facility, where you will work closely with a diverse team of 5 medical doctors and 5 nurse practitioners. Our facility is equipped with the latest medical technology and emphasizes a collaborative approach to patient care. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while ensuring access to care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations to assess patient health and pain levels.
• Review and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood panels and imaging studies, to inform treatment plans.
• Diagnose a range of health conditions, focusing on chronic pain management and acute health issues.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop comprehensive treatment plans that may include pharmacological and therapeutic interventions.
• Prescribe necessary medications while ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and schedules, ensuring all pertinent information is documented accurately.
• Educate patients and their families on their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care to enable informed decision-making.
• Advocate for patients by promoting good health practices and disease prevention strategies.
• Participate in research initiatives and continuing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant in Pain Management at Parkland Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with chronic pain conditions, post-operative care, and injury rehabilitation. Your role will be pivotal in providing both restorative and preventative care, ensuring patients receive the support and resources necessary for optimal recovery and health maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
• Active Physician Assistant license in New Jersey, with PA-C certification required.
• Valid DEA registration for prescribing medications.

• Demonstrated ethical standards and a commitment to patient advocacy.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package for this role ranges from USD 120,000 to 150,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
