Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have a multifaceted role that includes the following key responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough mental health evaluations and crisis assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for clients.

• Providing personalized crisis intervention while ensuring continuity of care by coordinating with various mental health professionals and agencies.
\n
• Completing all required clinical documentation and statistical reports, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational standards.
\n
• Collaborating effectively with the Department of Correction to guarantee appropriate housing and treatment for patients under their care.
\n
• Coordinating treatment plans and patient care in collaboration with other programs within our institution, facilitating an integrative approach to health.

• Leading group therapy sessions aimed at promoting mental well-being in observation units and other assigned settings.
\n
• Participating actively in clinical supervision sessions with the Clinical Supervisor to foster professional development.
\n
• Engaging in case conferences and treatment planning for patients currently receiving or being evaluated for mental health treatment.

• Performing psychological tests as needed and supervising social work interns or student volunteers to enrich their learning experiences.

Qualifications\n

Ideal candidates must possess the following qualifications:
