Software Development Engineer

Software Development Engineer (Full Stack / Product-Focused)
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible Extension) Pay Rate: $60/hr -$65/hr
Seeking a Software Development Engineer who combines strong coding skills with a product ownership mindset. This is not a traditional ticket-based development role. The ideal candidate will work directly with internal customers, gather requirements, prioritize features, manage backlogs, and drive solutions from concept through production.

- Full Stack Development (React/TypeScript preferred)
- AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway)

- Agile/Scrum
- Product/Feature Ownership
- Stakeholder & Customer Communication
Responsibilities:
- Own features end-to-end from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
- Partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications.
- Manage priorities, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to roadmap discussions.
- Support production systems and improve platform reliability.
Preferred:
- Experience leading features or acting as a technical/product owner.
- Internal tools or platform development experience.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong documentation and communication skills
