Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms, such as depression and anxiety.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatments, and self-care practices while providing consistent support.
\n
• Monitor and track client progress throughout therapeutic interventions, adjusting care strategies in response to client needs and treatment outcomes.

• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Stay current with research developments and best practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance efficacy and client outcomes.

• Maintain confidentiality and document client interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will primarily work with individuals facing emotional challenges related to mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients include a diverse demographic, including underserved populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. The therapist will play a critical role in supporting these clients through compassionate care and specialized treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n
