Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will have a diverse array of responsibilities that are critical to patient care, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments to determine the counseling needs of clients, using diagnostic tools such as the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual).

• Identifying and diagnosing substance use disorders in clients and evaluating the appropriate level of care based on ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria.

• Developing comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate substance abuse counseling strategies tailored to individual client needs.

• Creating effective discharge and continuum-of-care plans to facilitate a seamless transition to the next level of treatment.

• Documenting all aspects of counseling and educational services in client clinical records, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.

• Maintaining an organized caseload, including case management duties and conducting regular utilization reviews.
