Lead Accounting Operations at a Growing Manufacturing Company

Quality Enclosures has been a trusted manufacturer of custom glass and shower enclosure products for over 50 years. We're seeking a hands-on Accounting Supervisor to oversee our daily accounting operations while supporting continuous process improvement and leading a collaborative accounting team.

This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys balancing day-to-day accounting responsibilities with leadership, process improvement, and operational support.

What You'll Do

• Supervise the daily operations of the Accounting Department, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and General Ledger activities.
• Lead, coach, and support the accounting team while helping develop efficient workflows.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and General Ledger activity.
• Assist the Controller with month-end and year-end close.
• Monitor daily accounting workflow to ensure accuracy and timely completion of financial activities.
• Support external audits and maintain strong internal controls.
• Develop and improve accounting processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to support company operations and financial reporting.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent accounting experience will also be considered.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, account reconciliations, and General Ledger accounting.
• Experience supervising, training, or leading accounting employees strongly preferred.
• Experience using ERP systems; Sage 100 experience is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated follow-through, attention to detail, and the ability to establish priorities and hold work to deadlines.

Experience in one or more of the following is highly valued:

• Manufacturing accounting
• Inventory accounting
• Purchasing
• Freight and logistics accounting
• Product costing and cost accounting
