Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound exams, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, providing clear guidance throughout the procedures
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver superior diagnostic images
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging devices, signaling any issues promptly
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and keep patient information updated in the electronic health system
• Keep abreast of novel techniques and practices in ultrasound imaging

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
