Work Environment

As part of our telehealth facility, you will enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote work environment, providing you the opportunity to balance work and personal commitments efficiently. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough crisis assessments and implement immediate interventions for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring timely support is delivered.
• Provide empathetic and culturally sensitive counseling to clients in distress, demonstrating a strong ability to establish therapeutic alliances.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary, especially in situations that require client safety measures.
• Develop and execute personalized crisis intervention plans that outline follow-up care options and foster long-term healing.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and crisis intervention techniques, applying your knowledge to de-escalate situations and support client needs effectively.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills in crisis counseling, ensuring that you remain well-versed in the latest methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals grappling with addiction and mental health crises. Our clients often present with challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your responsibilities will entail not only addressing immediate psychological needs but also uplifting clients through compassionate guidance and evidence-based treatment methods that foster resilience and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of three years of recent experience in providing crisis intervention and mental health counseling, with a focus on addiction therapy.
• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-informed care and specialized training in crisis counseling.

Compensation and Benefits
