Work Environment\n

This position allows for a flexible remote work environment, enabling you to provide counseling services from the comfort of your home. You will have the support of our Assistant Director and work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, physicians, and occupational therapists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct assessments and engage with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and challenges before developing tailored rehabilitation plans.

• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation strategies considering clients’ educational backgrounds, physical abilities, and career aspirations, and adjust these plans as clients progress.
\n
• Collaborate with a cohesive team of healthcare professionals to design and facilitate comprehensive client rehabilitation programs suited to their specific needs.
\n
• Maintain meticulous case files and records for each client, including essential personal information, eligibility details, insurance, services rendered, and ongoing documentation of client interactions.
\n
• Continuously track and document client progress toward achieving their goals, making necessary adjustments based on observed outcomes to enhance success rates.
\n
• Maintain regular communication with clients during job training and occupational placement initiatives, proactively addressing any placement challenges that arise.
\n
• Engage with clients’ families and support networks to explore how best to fulfill clients’ needs and facilitate their recovery journeys.
\n
• Analyze client needs and produce timely reports, making informed referrals to additional resources as necessary to bolster their progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be individuals experiencing mental health and mood disorders. Clients may vary in age and background, including those in transitional phases of their lives, seeking support for various psychological challenges. By understanding their needs and working collaboratively, you will help empower them to navigate their mental health journeys toward sustained wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credentials in the state of Washington.
\n
• Prior experience working with clients facing mental health challenges, either in outpatient or residential settings, is essential.

• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset coupled with a strong passion for facilitating positive change in individuals’ lives.

• Proficiency in clinical skills such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and documentation practices required for effective therapy delivery.
