CGP: Accounting consultant

Our real estate client is looking for a temporary Accounting Consultant. This role is 3-6 months. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $55 to $60 per hour.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the controller to analyze existing financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Assist in implementing new policies and procedures based on findings.
- Utilize strong knowledge of MRI software to make necessary system changes.
- Engage with management, clients, and external parties (auditors, legal counsel).
- Real estate industry experience is essential.
- Proficiency with MRI software is required.
- Familiarity with GAAP compliance.
- As the company grows, ensure adherence to audit requirements.
