Primary Skills: Payroll-Expert, HRIS-Advanced, Excel-Advanced, ADP GlobalView-Intermediate, SAP-Intermediate Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension) Contract Type: W2 Only Location: Atlanta, GA (#LI-Hybrid) Pay Rate: $28-30/hr on W2 basis Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist capable of managing full payroll cycles for over 15,000 employees bi-weekly, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will handle complex payroll functions, including processing terminations, adjustments, and LOA calculations, utilizing ADP and HRIS systems like Workday. The role requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process full payroll cycles for exempt and nonexempt employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with employment laws. Manage and resolve complex payroll issues such as discrepancies in payments and direct deposit reversals. Audit and validate timesheet data from HRIS to payroll systems, ensuring accurate data feeds. Create and maintain detailed SOPs related to payroll processing and system utilization. Communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization and provide Tier 2 support for payroll-related inquiries. Must-Have Skills Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Strong experience with ADP GlobalView or similar systems. Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and research abilities. Industry Experience Experience in high-volume payroll environments within HR shared services is preferred. A background in industries with complex payroll needs is advantageous.
