This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, maintaining accurate financial records, and building positive working relationships with both internal teams and customers. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, payment reconciliation, and revenue reporting. Your work will directly support the financial operations of one of the world's leading drilling contractors. What You'll Do In this role, you will be responsible for managing a variety of accounts receivable and billing functions, including: Processing and entering daily timesheet information into billing systems accurately and on time. Reviewing customer contracts and setting up billing accounts according to contract requirements. Preparing and reconciling customer invoices, payroll-related billing, and bonus charges. Monitoring customer accounts to ensure invoices are issued correctly and approved as required. Reconciling revenue reports, deposits, and aged accounts receivable balances. Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies and payment issues. Following up on outstanding invoices and working with customers to facilitate timely payment. Maintaining organized electronic and physical records in compliance with company standards. Assisting with month-end reporting and other accounting projects as needed. Protecting confidential financial and employee information. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, accounting, or a related administrative role. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Reliable attendance and a professional work ethic. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in construction, mining, industrial, or project-based environments. Experience reviewing contracts and customer billing requirements.
