Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay current on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to continually enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records that comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in professional development opportunities and case consultations to foster growth, sharing insights and strategies with colleagues.

• Advocate for clients' needs and mental health, working to reduce stigma and create a supportive environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our mental health counseling services is to support clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. This role requires a genuine commitment to helping individuals develop coping strategies, enhance their emotional regulation, and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to establish secure, trusting therapeutic relationships with clients through effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Exhibit empathy, nonjudgmental attitudes, and a genuine respect for clients' experiences and challenges.
