Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough initial evaluations of patients' mental health needs, taking into account their trauma history and current challenges.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific psychological issues, setting actionable goals to facilitate personal growth.

• Deliver compassionate counseling that listens to patients' concerns and promotes open dialogue to foster trust and understanding.

• Educate patients and staff about coping mechanisms for managing stress and trauma, enhancing overall therapeutic engagement.

• Monitor patients’ progress on an ongoing basis, adjusting treatment strategies and interventions as necessary to meet evolving needs.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, social agencies, and community organizations to coordinate comprehensive services for patients.

• Complete necessary continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and ensure adherence to current practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with individuals who have experienced trauma injuries, representing a diverse demographic that may include adults, adolescents, and families. Our patients often face complex emotional responses stemming from their experiences; thus, your listening skills and empathetic approach will be vital in guiding them through their recovery journeys. You will help patients develop resilience, improve their coping mechanisms, and ultimately achieve personal goals for mental health and stability.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
