Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients experiencing stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, identifying clients' unique stressors, emotional hurdles, and therapeutic goals to customize mindfulness practices accordingly.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, incorporating mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques to foster self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Lead group workshops that focus on mindfulness techniques, stress management skills, and strategies for building resilience in everyday life.

• Engage in collaborative care by working alongside other therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach that includes mindfulness strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure in the state of New Jersey as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Excellent communication skills, effectively creating a supportive and calming therapeutic atmosphere for all clients.
