Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments with clients to understand their individual stressors and mental health concerns, creating tailored therapeutic plans that include mindfulness practices suited to their needs.

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to enhance clients’ coping strategies, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.
\n
• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques, promoting self-awareness and instilling techniques that clients can use independently.

• Facilitate group workshops and classes aimed at mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies, enabling participants to learn from one another in a supportive environment.

• Incorporate mindfulness into individual therapy sessions to effectively address various mental health concerns, adjusting methodologies as necessary to fit each client’s unique journey.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare providers, ensuring a seamless integration of therapeutic practices and a comprehensive approach to client care.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and relevant regulations.

• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practices, self-reflection, and professional development to continuously enhance your skills and understanding of mindfulness approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapist will work primarily with diverse populations in community settings, including individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, and other mental health disorders. The clinic serves clients from various backgrounds, emphasizing a compassionate and individualized approach that respects each person's unique life experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• Demonstrated proficiency in mindfulness-based interventions and ability to integrate these practices into therapeutic settings.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster a safe and nurturing therapeutic relationship.
