Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Grand Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth clinical assessments for students experiencing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues.

• Crafting comprehensive, individualized treatment plans based on the latest evidence-based practices and tailored to the unique needs of each student.

• Delivering therapeutic services using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques based on the age and comprehension levels of your clients.

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date clinical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and quality of care.

• Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals to coordinate holistic support for students, attending multidisciplinary meetings as necessary.

• Engaging in regular professional development activities, including peer reviews and case consultations, fostering continuous improvement in therapeutic approaches.

• Providing psychoeducation to students and families about mental health topics, treatment strategies, and available community resources, helping to create a supportive network.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A current, valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
