We are seeking an Executive Chef for a fine dining concept in the St. Louis area! This restaurant is a high end steakhouse/seafood concept and the role will require menu development.

Executive Chef Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
- Coordinate food and kitchenware orders, and manage some budgetary elements
- Check freshness and quality of ingredients
- Menu development using high quality ingredients
- Standardize recipes and plate presentations
- Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
Executive Chef Skills/Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and be hands on
- Strong financial acumen, looking for a thinker who can make informed decisions in a fast paced environment
- Previous experience in culinary arts - preferably in a fine dining kitchen
- Menu development using only high quality ingredients
- Knowledge of cost and labor systems, including managing kitchen finances
- Passion for food and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership qualities
- Self reliant, ability to get things done without being micromanaged
