Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each patient and develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Deliver individual and group therapy utilizing various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques, tailoring your approach to best suit patient needs.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that promote community connection and provide resources tailored to the challenges faced by your clients.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care, addressing both psychological and medical needs.

• Engage in crisis intervention services and provide timely support to patients experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources to foster informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and stay informed on advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various backgrounds and cultures who are facing complex mental health challenges. Your work will address not only their mental health conditions but also the social, emotional, and environmental factors influencing their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the State of New York.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and effective therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
