This role is primarily conducted in a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to manage your time effectively while meeting the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring that individual needs are adequately identified and addressed.

• Deliver personalized individual and family therapy sessions, designing therapeutic approaches based on tailored treatment plans.
\n
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation including billing practices, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms.
\n
• Design and implement crisis intervention strategies, safety plans, and relapse prevention initiatives that support patients in maintaining stability.
\n
• Generate comprehensive discharge plans that prepare patients for successful transitions post-therapy.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, regulatory obligations, and Emory Health policies and procedures.
\n
• Actively pursue professional development through training and continuing education to remain adept in current mental health practices.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations and agency meetings to foster continuous improvement in treatment methodologies.
\n
• Complete all required licensure maintenance and agency mandatory training.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse clientele suffering from various mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to complex family dynamics. Your approach will be essential in fostering a therapeutic relationship that encourages open communication, empathy, and trust. The goal is to empower clients through informed treatment decisions and empathetic support, contributing significantly to their overall mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related discipline that qualifies for licensure.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Illinois.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings is preferred, particularly with individual and family therapy.

• Prior experience implementing evidence-based practices and coordinated care plans.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing processes within a clinical environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
