Work Environment\n

This full-time position is designed to be fulfilled entirely remotely, utilizing telehealth platforms to provide effective mental health counseling to clients throughout Texas. The work hours are typically from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with some evening shifts required on a rotating basis to accommodate client schedules. Working in a collaborative virtual environment allows our team members to share insights and strategies while utilizing state-of-the-art technology to engage with clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance use concerns of clients, effectively identifying co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that leverage evidence-based therapies, ensuring comprehensive care that addresses both mental health and substance use needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on building coping skills, developing relapse prevention strategies, and enhancing emotional regulation techniques.

• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, ensuring clients receive a holistic treatment experience.

• Implement regular substance use monitoring and apply motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement in their recovery journeys.

• Educate clients and their families about the interconnections between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatments, and referrals in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to work with adults and adolescents who are dealing with co-occurring disorders, characterized by a combination of mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, or PTSD, alongside substance use issues. By effectively engaging with these individuals, you will facilitate their journey towards recovery and empowerment, significantly impacting their lives and promoting sustained wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A solid understanding of the complexities between mental health conditions and substance use disorders, with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
