Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through initial consultations and continuous assessments, documenting each client's unique treatment journey.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral conditions, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment.

• Develop and implement personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the diverse needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment conducive to open discussions and self-exploration.

• Monitor client progress meticulously throughout the treatment plan, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create comprehensive care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Our clients range from young adults to seniors, allowing you to apply a broad spectrum of counseling techniques and interventions tailored to various life stages and circumstances. The emphasis on telehealth expands our reach, enabling you to connect with clients who may face barriers to traditional in-person therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas is required.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is necessary.

• Proven ability to work effectively as a mental health counselor, demonstrating a solid foundation of clinical skills.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems is essential, with specific experience in AVATAR being a plus.
