Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and deliver short-term psychotherapy for clients through various modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, ensuring the application of the latest techniques, tools, and therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Deliver clinical services under the supervision of licensed psychologists or medical practitioners, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Provide a range of therapeutic services such as crisis intervention, skills training, supportive therapy, and couple/family therapy tailored to individual needs.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans, coordinating care for clients with co-occurring disorders.

• Engage in ongoing assessments to monitor treatment progress, making timely adjustments based on client feedback and clinical judgments.

• Document therapy sessions accurately, maintaining meticulous records that comply with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Psy.D in the state of New York.

• A master's or doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Psychiatric Recovery House offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $75,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
