Oscar Stone Jewelry is seeking an experienced and highly knowledgeable Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the company’s accounting operations across our growing jewelry business. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on accounting experience who can take ownership of financial records, reconciliations, QuickBooks, and tax-related accounting responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while providing accurate financial information to company leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage and maintain company accounts using QuickBooks .
• Perform and review bank, credit card, and account reconciliations .
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Handle tax reconciliations and assist with tax preparation and tax-related reporting.
• Work with external accountants and tax professionals as needed.
• Review financial transactions and identify discrepancies, errors, or irregularities.
• Maintain accurate records for multiple retail locations.
• Assist with payroll accounting and ensure payroll-related financial records are accurate.
• Support audits and provide financial documentation when requested.
• Establish and maintain strong accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Provide management with accurate financial information and reporting.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of company financial information.
• Help improve accounting processes and systems as the company continues to grow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks required.
• Strong experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience with tax reconciliations and tax-related accounting required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience managing accounting for a multi-location business is a plus.
• Jewelry, retail, luxury goods, or similar industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who can take charge of the accounting function , identify issues, provide solutions, and ensure Oscar Stone’s financial records remain accurate and organized.

The right candidate should not need to be constantly supervised and should have the knowledge and confidence to manage accounting responsibilities, communicate with leadership, and work directly with outside accounting and tax professionals when necessary.
