The ideal candidates will provide accurate and effective interpretation services to ensure equal access to instruction and school activities. Job Quick Facts Facility Type: School Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, Specific schedule TBC Requirements Certification by Texas Commission for the Deaf or Registry for the Deaf knowledge of the code of ethics established by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) Responsibilities Provide interpreting and transliterating services for students with hearing impairments in instructional settings. Prepare for assignments by reviewing subject matter and relevant sign language vocabulary. Participate as a member of the educational team by contributing input on student progress and performance.
