Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist at our Rehabilitation Center, you will work onsite in a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere. Our typical work schedule follows a Monday to Friday format, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a conducive work-life balance. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical staff, collaborating to ensure the best care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to understand each patient's unique needs and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at restoration of mobility and function.
• Administer effective, cost-efficient therapy sessions that utilize a variety of techniques to promote range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise regimes, ensuring a focus on non-surgical alternatives to promote successful rehabilitation.
• Encourage patient adherence to treatment protocols and empower them to take an active role in their recovery process through education and motivational support.
• Document patient progress accurately and efficiently using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain open lines of communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide updates on progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Engage in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in physical therapy and provide evidence-based care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse patient population ranging from those recovering from orthopedic surgeries to individuals managing chronic conditions or injuries. You will have the opportunity to work with various age groups, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each patient. Focus areas include enhancing mobility, relieving pain, and restoring physical function to improve patients' overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, free of any disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and in the development of comprehensive exercise prescriptions.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing personalized exercise programs.
• Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a rehabilitation environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our robust benefits package includes:
