This position is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. However, you will stay connected with your colleagues and supervisors through regular virtual meetings and collaborative platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and evaluate patients’ mental health statuses, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and other clinical tools.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that integrate patients’ cultural backgrounds, individual needs, and specific challenges, working closely with the patient and other health professionals.

• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient’s unique mental health journey.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records, reports, and clinical notes in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.

• Provide direct education, support, and mentoring to patients, families, and non-licensed practitioners to enhance their understanding of mental health issues and treatment processes.
\n
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and collaborating on comprehensive care strategies for patients.
\n
• Serve as a resource for interns, new hires, and volunteers, offering educational guidance and opportunities for observational learning in mental health practices.

• Coordinate referrals to additional services and resources, actively building and sustaining relationships with external treatment providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with patients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related disorders, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our diverse patient population reflects the varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds of Oakland, which will require sensitivity and adaptability in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
