Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Positive-Steps Counseling Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients and their families.
\n
• Facilitating individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Systems Therapy.

• Collaboratively developing personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals and aspirations.
\n
• Utilizing digital tools and platforms effectively to document client progress and treatment outcomes within our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Fostering collaborative partnerships with other mental health professionals and community organizations to ensure comprehensive client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse range of clients seeking support for issues such as relationship conflict, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Qualifications\n

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Demonstrated ability to provide effective therapy through a variety of therapeutic methodologies.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create rapport with clients and fellow team members.

• A commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development through training and continuing education.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
