Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students, identifying their strengths, weaknesses, and specific mental health challenges that may impact their learning and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the needs of each client, incorporating techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused approaches.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to address various issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma, helping students develop coping strategies and resilience.

• Provide vocational and experiential counseling, working collaboratively with families to support their child's educational and emotional journey.

• Engage in collaborative case management with external community resources, ensuring a seamless continuum of care for your clients.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with all relevant laws and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to contribute to the collective growth and clinical practice of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses specifically on working with school-aged children and adolescents, addressing their unique mental health needs within an educational context. You'll be instrumental in identifying problems that may hinder their academic performance and social engagement, ensuring they receive holistic support that extends beyond therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania is required.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in school or child-centered environments, is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing therapy in a school setting, with an understanding of the educational system and its challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n
