Workers Compensation Specialist

Serving as a strategic advisor and liaison, the full-time California Licensed Workers' Compensation Specialist will manage client relationships, oversee claims processes, and ensure compliance with state regulations while working remotely. Key responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding workers' compensation claims and advocate for effective claims management Monitor open claims for timely handling, providing guidance on strategies for claim resolution and cost containment Educate clients on claims processes, medical treatment plans, and return-to-work strategies, while collaborating with insurance carriers and third-party administrators Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred, or equivalent work experience 7-10+ years of California workers' compensation claims handling or consulting experience required SIP certificate required Strong understanding of California WCAB processes, reserves, and litigation strategy Proficiency in interpreting loss runs, mod worksheets, and actuarial data
