Work Environment\n

This is a full-time position that offers flexible scheduling from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 7 PM. The ability to choose between 4x10 or traditional 5x8 work schedules allows for improved work-life balance, which is central to our organizational philosophy. Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide high-quality psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups, adapting strategies to each unique case.

• Conduct thorough interviews to gather and interpret vital social, personal, environmental, and health information that impacts client well-being.
\n
• Evaluate clients' needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement interventions to address mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, relational conflicts, and substance use disorders.
\n
• Coordinate with community resources and services, facilitating referrals to ensure holistic care and support for clients.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with established protocols.
\n
• Build and sustain relationships characterized by trust and empathy, which are essential for effective therapeutic engagement.
\n
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment interventions and adjust care strategies as necessary, in collaboration with clients.
\n
• Manage a caseload in line with organization requirements, ensuring client records remain current and comprehensive.
\n
• Provide clinical supervision or mentoring to junior staff or interns, as needed, to assist in their professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse client population, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, family dynamics, and personal crises. Our emphasis on accessibility means you will work with clients from various backgrounds, including underrepresented and underserved communities, providing tailored approaches to support their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.

• Strong familiarity with behavioral health issues, including mood disorders, substance abuse, and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Parent Infant Mental Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, eligible candidates will receive a sign-on bonus, enhancing the overall compensation package.
