Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting initial assessments and interviews to collect comprehensive client histories and mental health information.

• Documenting and maintaining accurate records throughout the therapy process, from the initial consultation to treatment completion.

• Developing tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and diverse groups based on evaluated needs.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions and group therapy, employing evidence-based practices and interventions.
\n
• Monitoring client progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness and client engagement.

• Collaborating with a range of mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to create comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Providing follow-up care and ongoing support for patients who are transitioning from hospital settings back into outpatient care.

• Educating clients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available resources for mental and behavioral health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will involve working with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and addiction disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds and age groups, making it essential for our counselor to practice cultural competence and adaptability in their therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Colorado.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counseling Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating clinical insight and thorough understanding of therapeutic methodologies.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms to document and track patient information.

• Experience in group therapy facilitation and creating supportive therapy environments.

• Application of best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
