Experienced Construction Bookkeeper
We are searching for an experienced construction bookkeeper for a well-respected, well-established specialty sub based in NYC.
Successful candidate will have:
- Three years of experience working within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of and experience with an organization whose employees who are members of a trade union.
- Experience and ability to do union and certified payroll.
- Experience and ability to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Experience and ability to process AIA requisitions and change orders.
- Knowledge and experience with all lines of commercial insurance
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel and Sharepoint.
- New York State notary required.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Strong comp & benefits package, including 100% company paid; 401K & profit sharing.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with summer hours from Memorial Day thru Labor Day.
Conveniently located two blocks from Penn Station and most subway lines for easy commuting.
