Vice President Operations

I'm partnering with a growing utility infrastructure contractor to appoint a Vice President of Operations to lead and scale its Transmission & Distribution business across Florida. This is a key executive position for someone who combines operational leadership with commercial awareness and has a track record of delivering utility infrastructure projects safely, efficiently and profitably. You'll be responsible for driving operational performance, supporting strategic growth and building high-performing teams across multiple project locations. The Opportunity You'll provide leadership across a diverse portfolio of utility infrastructure projects, working closely with project delivery, construction, commercial and executive teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. This role will suit someone who enjoys improving operational performance, developing people and creating the systems and processes needed to support a growing business. Key Responsibilities Lead all operational activities across the T&D division. Provide strategic oversight of transmission, distribution and substation projects. Drive safety, quality and operational excellence across multiple regions. Manage and mentor Operations Managers, Project Managers and field leadership teams. Oversee project performance, resource planning and financial delivery. Build and maintain strong relationships with utility clients and key stakeholders. Support business growth, operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with executive leadership to shape the future direction of the business.
