Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of each patient's physical capabilities, history, and treatment needs to create personalized care plans.
• Administer and supervise therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to resolve physical impairments effectively.
• Monitor and document patient progress methodically; adjust treatment plans as required based on ongoing assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.
• Instruct patients and their family members on tailored home exercise plans and strategies aimed at maintaining physical health outside the clinical environment.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, professional guidelines, and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be primarily working with diverse patient populations, with a focus on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries. Your expertise will be crucial in developing effective rehabilitation plans aimed at maximizing patients' functional independence and quality of life. You will encounter a variety of cases, ranging from post-operative orthopedic recoveries to chronic pain management.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida is mandatory.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program required. A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly preferred.
• Solid communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills essential for success in a collaborative environment.
• Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and the pursuit of specialized certifications.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing physical therapy, particularly in an outpatient or orthopedic setting.

Compensation and Benefits
