Law Enforcement Cadet: Train to Be a Deputy Sheriff

County of Santa Clara invites applicants to enter an Academy to prepare for Deputy Sheriff duties, including academic, technical, and physical training. Cadets will learn patrol procedures, weapons handling, and arrest techniques under POST standards. The program may designate a Disaster Service Worker and requires passing a written exam and the agility test in August 2026.
