Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LCSW, you will:

• Conduct Clinical Assessments: Perform thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients within hospice care. Utilize a variety of tools and methodologies to gather insights and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize evidence-based psychotherapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Adapt interventions to best support clients coping with grief, anxiety, and other end-of-life emotional challenges.

• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of client management.

• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare providers to ensure holistic care approaches that integrate physical and emotional well-being.

• Engage in Continuous Learning: Participate in case consultations and professional development sessions to stay informed of current best practices and advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work primarily with clients receiving hospice services, addressing a range of mental health issues including grief, depression, and anxiety associated with terminal illness. Your empathetic engagement will facilitate healing and support for both clients and their families during a challenging time.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Licensure: A valid California state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, ideally with a focus on palliative or hospice care.

• Skill Set: Proficiency in solution-based therapies and a strong grasp of therapeutic modalities suited for terminal patients are essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
