Work Environment\n

This position offers a hybrid work environment with the flexibility of remote work, supplemented by occasional visits to a climate-controlled hospice center in Edgewood, Maryland. Daily activities involve interacting with other healthcare providers and participating in collaborative treatment team meetings focused on holistic patient care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations of patients, utilizing standardized tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to ensure accurate mental health care delivery.

• Develop individualized care plans that are culturally sensitive and address the unique needs of patients and their families. Engage in continuous evaluation and modification of these plans based on patient progress and feedback.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and treatment processes, in adherence to organizational standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Foster a collaborative environment by coordinating with patients and family members, as well as interfacing with various healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach.

• Provide supervision and mentoring to interns and students, contributing to their professional development and practical learning.

• Participate in peer reviews, chart audits, and clinical collaborations to enhance team performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n
