Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting initial assessments through virtual platforms to document and detail client cases from the first consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluating clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to tailor interventions effectively.

• Developing personalized intervention and recovery plans for diverse client groups, including individuals, couples, families, and support groups.

• Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth, utilizing creative techniques suited to a virtual environment.

• Continuously monitoring and documenting client progress against established treatment goals and adjusting plans as necessary.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to design and implement comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Following up with other healthcare providers when clients require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

• Assisting family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental health challenges faced by their loved ones.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

• Evidence of successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven experience as a mental health counselor, with a strong understanding of current therapeutic practices.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR or equivalent systems.

• Knowledge of co-occurring disorders, substance abuse treatments, and the impact of physical health conditions on mental health is essential.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth environment and familiarity with virtual counseling techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
