Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Great Lake Behavioral Center, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities tailored to the needs of our clients:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging and supportive group sessions that encourage clients to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.

• Individual Therapy: Provide empathetic and personalized counseling that delves into clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them develop coping strategies and actionable plans.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that cater to their unique needs.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment tools and feedback methods to track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaboration: Work cohesively with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring cohesive care, regularly communicating client progress, and consulting on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18-30 accessing our outpatient treatment programs. These individuals may be facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional difficulties. Your role will not only involve direct therapy but also nurturing the potential and growth of these clients by instilling hope and resilience.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
