Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to groups, individuals, and families using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring high-quality documentation.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, participating in case reviews and treatment team meetings.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development activities, including workshops and training, to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health services. This role will involve working with diverse populations presenting various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will provide a safe and supportive environment, helping clients feel heard and empowered in their journey toward wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing clinical practice.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly preferred.

• Experience with group therapy modalities or community mental health settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
