Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and screenings, using evidence-based tools to understand students' mental health concerns and establish tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual counseling sessions focused on short-term therapy and effective crisis intervention strategies for a wide array of issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress management.

• Facilitate therapeutic groups and skill-building workshops to promote mental wellness, covering essential topics such as coping strategies, time management, and self-care practices.

• Engage in active collaboration with campus partners—such as academic advisors, faculty, and student organizations—to ensure a holistic approach to student support.

• Take part in outreach initiatives and mental health advocacy, participating in campaigns and wellness events to raise awareness within the university community.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation, adhering rigorously to ethical and legal standards of practice.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; candidates with a master’s or doctoral degree are preferred.

• Demonstrated understanding of the specific mental health challenges faced by college students, along with cultural competence to engage with diverse populations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with students and collaborate with various campus stakeholders.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and brief therapy models, particularly within a university counseling context.

• Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment while managing varied caseloads effectively.

Preferred Experience\n
