Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, evaluating their mental health status and establishing individualized therapy plans tailored to their unique needs.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused modalities.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions in addition to individual therapy, creating a supportive environment for shared experiences among participants.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care, ensuring that each client receives comprehensive treatment addressing all aspects of their well-being.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that meets legal and ethical standards, utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems efficiently.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, keeping abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will primarily work with a diverse array of clients, including those who have limited access to mental health resources and who present with a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. You will be instrumental in helping these individuals develop coping strategies, improve their well-being, and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required, demonstrating competence in patient interactions and treatment planning.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with a diverse client base.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
