Information Technology Support Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an IT Support Engineer for a Contract with a client located in Redmond, WA—onsite — with strong hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, an IT Tech Background, strong documentation skills, Python, C#, and PowerShell. Rate Range: $42/hr - $45/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors) Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each: Minimum 3 years’ experience with Microsoft services such as Azure Active Directory and Azure DevOps. Minimum 3 years’ experience with a tech background, able to help with tech issues. Minimum 3 years’ experience with strong documentation skills Minimum 3 years’ experience with scripting language experience (Python, C#, or PowerShell) Typical Day in the Role: Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to bring “games that make you think” to the market, primarily through the Age of Empires franchise. Key projects: This role will be a hands-on IT support and procurement role, focusing on IT-related tasks to help the studio improve our ability to deliver a world-class experience Candidate Requirements: The ideal resume would contain experience having worked with a gaming team before and the ability to write different scripts using Python (Python is a requirement, but the more familiar they are, the easier the role will be). The ideal candidate will be someone who has a well-written resume. Candidates with a disorganized resume that does not flow and is difficult to read will be rejected by the sponsor. We are a passionate team responsible for titles loved by players all over the world. Responsibilities Work closely with Studio Management, various Directors and Leads to understand and act upon the studio’s IT-related needs Perform PC Hardware procurement, setup, and recycling Field requests for information technology services, repairs, upgrades, support, inquiries, or complaints Manage PC and parts inventory for the studio Provide IT support internally and externally to partner teams involved in game creation Work with the larger client IT teams to engage on best practices and work through technical concerns Qualifications 3+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 2 years in a procurement position. Prior experience in a game development studio is welcome but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Microsoft services such as Azure Active Directory and Azure DevOps. Scripting language experience ( Python, C#, or PowerShell ) is a plus. Experience in supporting multiple OSes is a bonus.
